Parkside Apartments are located in Gillette, Wyoming. The property consists of 94 units of affordable housing located in four identical garden style buildings. This property was acquired by Omni New York LLC in February 2007. The financing for this project consists of 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit from Wyoming Community Development Authority and a Fannie Mae DUS Loan.
The rehabilitation of Parkside Apartments took place throughout 2007. Improvements within the apartments included new energy star appliances, kitchen cabinets, sinks, flooring, painting, bathroom fixtures, toilets, smoke detectors, and lighting. In addition, five apartments were converted into fully accessible ADA (American with Disability Act) units. System upgrades consisted of plumbing, electrical and HVAC work. Exterior improvements included new roofing, new aluminum siding, new energy saving windows, new entrance doors, upgraded outside lighting system, walkways and parking lot paving, a new gazebo and other landscaping.
